Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande-Butera (/,a:ri'a:n@ 'gra'ndeI/ AR-eeAH-n@ GRAHN-day;[note 1] born June 26th the 26th of June, 1993) is an American singer, songwriter and actress. Her fame is based on her four-octave vocal range and her signature use of the whistle register, which have received critical acclaim by media and critics. Grande has been awarded numerous awards throughout her career, including two Grammy Awards, one Brit Award, one Bambi Award, two Billboard Music Awards Three American Music Awards, nine MTV Video Music Awards, and 30 Guinness World Records.
Grande began her career in music at age 15 during the year 2008's Broadway musical 13. Grande became a star as Cat Valentine on Nickelodeon's television series Victorious (2010 to 2013) and as Sam and Cat(2013 from 2013 to 2014). After watching YouTube videos of Grande singing, Republic Records signed Grande to their label in the year 2011. The 1950s-influenced doo-wop pop and R&B debut album, [2] Yours Truly (2013) It topped the US Billboard 200, while its lead single, "The Way", made it to the top ten on the US Billboard Hot 100. The vocals of Grande and her whistle-like sound on the album were instantly and compared to Mariah Carey.
In her third and fourth studio albums, My Everything (2014), and Dangerous Woman (2016), she continued exploring pop and R&B. My Everything experimented with EDM and was a global hit with its singles "Problem", "Break Free" and "Bang Bang", while Dangerous Woman became her first album to have four consecutive albums at number one in the UK. Her personal struggles have influenced her trap-infused fourth and fifth studio albums, Sweetener (2018) and Thank U, Next (2019), both of which were commercial and critical successes. Sweetener won Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album. Thank U Next broke the record for the biggest streaming week for pop albums . It also was nominated for Album of the Year. The singles "Thank U, Next", "7 Rings", and "Break Up with Your Girlfriend I'm Bored" helped make Grande the first solo artist to hold the top three spots on the Hot 100 simultaneously and the first woman to make it to the top in the top spot of the UK Singles Chart. The 2020 collaborations "Stuck with U" with Justin Bieber and "Rain on Me" together with Lady Gaga helped her break the record for the most number-one songs to debut on the Hot 100, the latter earning her the Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Grande extended her trap sound with her sixth studio album Positions (2020) with the result that the title track and the album's title track debuted at number 1 in the UK. In 2021, she teamed up with The Weeknd on the remix of "Save Your Tears", garnering her sixth US top-seller single.
