Charissa Thompson

Thompson left FOX Sports and began hosting on behalf of Versus Sports and Yahoo Sports. She hosted Versusthe ' NHL studio coverage and created web videos for the loved Yahoo platform. The latter included leading Yahoo's coverage of major events including that of 2010 Winter Olympics. FIFA World Cup. Super Bowl XLV. and BCS National Championship. The success in both venues brought her to join ESPN in the summer of 2011 and she was promoted to one of the hosts on the brand's new show for the afternoon "Numbers Never lie." After a transition towards "SportsNation," she enjoyed an unending run of successes. Her departure from the network came for FS1's launch on Los Angeles, May 2013 and returned home to Los Angeles. Thompson, a sports enthusiast at heart has shown impressive abilities in transitioning to the world of entertainment television. After a few jobs as a part-time employee, she was named a permanent co-host for the evening Hollywood news magazine "Extra," in June 2014.
