Lori Greiner

Lori Greiner (born Lori Husman) is an American TV personality and entrepreneur. Since 2009, she's appeared as a Shark or as an investor in Shark Tank on ABC's reality TV show about business Shark Tank. In college, she was intrigued by the idea of creating and selling customized jewelry. When the idea of a plastic organizer came to her, she showed it to women in the streets, to gauge their reaction. Eventually she patented the product and began to market it through several platforms both offline and online and continues to develop numerous products. So far, she has created and marketed more than 1000 successful products. She is also the holder of over 120 US as well as International patents. She is a sharp observer, and a keen sense of business and has the ability to determine instantly if a particular product will succeed or fail. This results in 90% of success of her ventures. She is a strong believer that "if you're fortunate enough to be successful then it's your obligation to make a difference". As a result she makes donations to several charity organizations every year.
